When I was little (grade 1ish), my best friend was named Dallas. We had a great time together in Ferntree Gully. He also had a sister named Saphire.
It was only years later that I realised he was different.
I was already different because I was a geek.
He was different because he was indigenous Australian – Aboriginal.
I’ve always been on the outside. I’ve always been the odd one out. I’ve always been excluded.
It’s not a comparison to being a different race, but maybe that’s why we were friends. Why 2 primary school kids got together and became fiends, because we were hard done by from others.
I don’t have a story to tell. I don’t have a meaning of life moment to share with you, all I have to say is we are all the same, but also that ppl find company in others that are different 🙂
Long live Lego People put together wrong 😉
